Two types of information may be collected when you visit GlobalRebirth.org, information which you knowingly provide us (called personally identifiable information), and information which is obtained from your visit but is not directly associated with you (called non-personally identifiable information).
When you sign up to use one or more of our services, make a donation, send an e-mail, ask a question, offer an opinion or order items in the online store, we may specifically ask for information about you, including, but not limited to name, age, address, phone number, e-mail address, financial and/or demographic information and payment information. USAGE BY CHILDREN

In accordance with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), you must be 13 years or older to use the Global Rebirth fundraising site. By registering for the campaign or making a donation, you represent and warrant that you are 13 or older.

PAYPAL DONATIONS

PayPal deducts a small fee for donations and purchases processed. For your convenience and security we have chosen PayPal to conduct our online donations and transactions. While PayPal does charge a small fee for each transaction made, sponsors and private donors ensure we are able to give 100% to the cause when noted "100%". When sponsoring a student or participant in the fundraising section of globalrebirth.org, the small PayPal transaction fee will be issued. Fundraising participants, please note that the PayPal transaction fee will be deducted by PayPal from any sponsorship made through our website.

All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductuble. PayPal will issue you your tax-donation reciept.

In addition to having the information you submit to us on our website, globalrebirth.org, we also like do other things to help you get sponsorships and donations, such as featuring your information in our newsletters, email blasts, and events. Your personal contact information will never be shared with anyone.

TOUR SPONSORSHIP REFUNDS AND CREDIT

In the event that a participant or applicant is unable to come on the desired tour, funds that have been raised via our website cannot be refunded. By default, funds that have been raised will be donated to another participant or applicant attempting to raise funds for their tour. However, if the participant or applicant chooses to do so, he/she may recieve a credit for the amount he/she has raised via our website. Credit will remain elligible for re-use for up to one (1) year on another tour. The one (1) year period will begin on the first day of the intended tour. If credit is not claimed or used in the one (1) year period, remaining funds will be transferred to our 100% donation fund that directly benefits orphans and children in need of nutrition.
